What better way to start the weekend than with a freshly finished illustration?! This week’s illustration challenge was to draw this beautiful portrait of Jean Seberg, an American actress from the ’50s who unfortunately got more famous for the tragedies surrounding her personal life than for her big screen performances.
I had this picture of her laying around for years. I always loved her style and find this quite a fascinating portrait too. On first look she seems innocent, but her facial expression is a bit hard to read and gives her an unpredictable look. This makes it a very interesting portrait to me and I tried to capture this typical expression as good as possible.
And now it’s time for weekend; happy Friday everybody, make sure to enjoy it to the fullest!
