Not having heard of Strange Books before, my first thought was that a publisher with such a remarkable name could only publish books that are well ... kind of strange. It turns out that my first impression was absolutely right; Strange Medicine is a book filled with crazy, funny and very peculiar stories.

'Eleanor & Park' a love story set in Omaha, Nebraska in 1986. All that's there to say is that I absolutely loved this beautiful and bittersweet story and got completely wrapped up in it. If you, like me, are a hopeless romantic, have an appreciation for good music and comics and a weakness for the unpopular kids, this is a book you shouldn't miss.
